Psalms 94:1-7
1 O LORD, you God of vengeance, you God of vengeance, shine forth!2 Rise up, O judge of the earth;give to the proud what they deserve!3 O LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked exult?4 They pour out their arrogant words; all the evildoers boast.5 They crush your people, O LORD, and afflict your heritage.6 They kill the widow and the stranger, they murder the orphan,7 and they say, “The LORD does not see;the God of Jacob does not perceive.”
This passage below is a powerful one about God looking down from heaven on his people and hearing the cry of the oppressed.
Psalms 102:17
17He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and will not despise their prayer.18 Let this be recorded for a generation to come, so that a people yet unborn may praise the LORD: 19 that he looked down from his holy height, from heaven the LORD looked at the earth, 20 to hear the groans of the prisoners, to set free those who were doomed to die;21 so that the name of the LORD may be declared in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem, 22 when peoples gather together, and kingdoms, to worship the LORD.
David longs to see God execute justice on the wicked. He really wants them to get their due.
